This floral Valentine’s Day wreath is so pretty and feminine, and I love that it takes an unexpected departure from the traditional red Valentine’s Day color scheme. Continue reading for the complete tutorial for how to make this pretty wreath for Valentine’s Day to decorate any space in your home with supplies from Michaels!
I’ve teamed up with Michaels to bring this fun Valentine’s Day idea to you. All opinions are entirely my own.
Floral Valentine’s Day Wreath Supplies
- Straw wreath form
- Ribbon
- Floral picks
- Wire cutter
- Valentine’s Day sign or banner
- Hot glue
Directions
Wrap the wreath form with the ribbon, securing the ends to the back of the wreath with hot glue. (I leave the wreath in the original cellophane wrapper to make this process tidier.)
I added a contrasting band of turquoise lace ribbon to make wreath for added texture, but you can definitely wrap the wreath entirely in one ribbon if you like!
Michaels has so many pretty seasonal flowers right now! I grabbed three of these pretty floral picks to use for my wreath. They are just the right size for a small project like this one, and I love that they include both pretty flowers and some nice green texture, too.
Use the wire cutters to trim away the stem from the floral pick. Cutters like these are so handy when working with artificial flowers.
Arrange the flowers as desired on the wreath, and secure them with hot glue.
Anchor a cute Valentine’s Day themed sign or banner to the center of the wreath with hot glue if you like. I found these cute little sign in the Valentine’s Day section at Michaels. I think it adds just the right pop of Valentine’s Day personality to this wreath!
Your Floral Valentine Wreath is complete!
I plan to tuck this wreath in the built-in shelves above our kitchen banquette.
I just love the feminine feel of this wreath, and the pop of bright floral colors against the striped ribbon here gives this project such a fun, pretty vibe!
It’s almost February and love is in the air! From classroom – perfect projects to gifts for her galentines or her one-and-only, Michaels makes it happen!
