    getting to do something special with just my hubbs…. and spending the two weeks before slipping sweet little grade school valentine’s in both kidlet and hubbs’ lunches and backpacks, beneath the windshield wipers, heart shaped sandwiches that embarrass the crap out of them… lol. i really love valentine’s day!

    I love getting to spend a quite and alone night with the hubs and do couple things without being interrupted by the kiddo or the phones because the kiddo stays at his grandparents that night and we turn our phones off 🙂

    I used to HATE Valentines Day. I never understood why we needed one day a year for an opportunity to show your significant other how much you loved them but now that mine and my husband’s schedules are so chaotic and clash so much making it so that we don’t get to see each other as much as we’d like…..I look forward to Valentines Day where I know that we will get that one day to just spend time together and have a wonderful day. It’s so important to just push all the hustle and bustle to the side for the day and focus on nothing but each other. Days like that are a gift and I get so excited for it! This would be a wonderful gift to us!

      I love Valentines Day because it’s an extension of our Anniversary which we celebrate on the 9th. We celebrate all the good and even the rough patches that we’ve gotten through thanks to God. We celebrate the love we have, the daughter we’ve waited for, for 10 years and we snuggle in the cold weather. What better way to celebrate Valentines but with my special Valentine.
