Oh, friends…do I have a treat for you today! My sweet friend Kellie is in the house, and the eye candy she has to share is beyond fabulous! Take it away, Kellie!

Hello lovelies!
I’m Kellie from This Blessed Nest & I’m thrilled to be blog swapping with Amy today!
I had the pleasure of meeting Amy at Blissdom back in January.

Still can’t believe I met all these superstars!
I remember the first time I was introduced to Amy, I thought immediately how gorgeous & sweet she was. Seriously, people…Amy is a knock out & is as sweet as sugar. She IS Positively Splendid!
As for me…I’m your typical stay @ home mom of 3 young kiddos. I blog at This Blessed Nest & also have an etsy shop Bag Full of Posies. The combination of my 3 kiddos & my etsy shop keep me hopping.
But I love it.
I really do think that blogging & crafting are the cheapest therapy one can buy. Can I get an amen? (From Amy: Amen!)
I adore touches of whimsy in the everyday & I design our home with my kids in mind.
Recently, I added some whimsy to our entry way wall.
We live in a small 1920 Sears catalog home. It’s full of charm & glass door knobs, but we also have to be pretty creative when it comes to space & having a family of five. You can read how I transferred our boring wall into a fun wall by going here.
Do you like to upcycle? I sure do!
I strongly believe it’s one of the cheapest ways to decorate. It’s the challenge of finding a new purpose or just a new look that always thrills me. Come see how easy it was, to make 2 separate looks out of my dated canister set.
One thing about me…when I drive around neighborhoods, while eating some Krispy Kreme, I stalk glance at all the lovely flowers bed & pots this time of year looking for inspiration. I love me some curb appeal!
Come read all about the *crap* I use to literally take those itty bitty $2-3 flower starter plants into WOW plants in no time!!!
When I’m not blogging or playing, you can find me here~
My etsy shop, Bag Full of Posies. I started it less than a year ago. And can’t help but feel rather proud of this little shop that could. It’s all done on the graveyard shift working in my happy place = my craft room.
My craft room is one of my happy places in our home. I love it. It’s a small A-framed room, but it’s all mine. Full of my treasured craft supplies. Feel free to come on over & see how we did it on a dime, from scrap to using trash.

Thanks for having me over. It’s been fun hanging out with all of you today.
If you want to see more of me or are even crazy enough to follow me on twitter…

Isn’t Kellie a delight? What a gracious, darling person she is, and her blog is a true reflection of exactly that! Head on over and prepare to stick around for a while!
Having grown up in a home brimming with sewing notions and paintbrushes, Amy has a deep love for all things creative. On any given day, you’ll find her knee-deep in her latest creative endeavor, with projects ranging from sewing and crafts to home decor and kid-friendly ideas. Amy believes that everyone, regardless of skill level or experience, possesses the ability to create something beautiful, and Positively Splendid was born of her passion for helping others harness their innate creative potential.
