Cecily is very, very sick with RSV. I took her in first thing this morning, and I knew she was very ill when the wait at the walk-in Saturday clinic at our pediatrician’s office was 2 hours, but they promptly bumped her to the front of the list the moment they laid eyes on her. After two breathing treatments at the office and an x-ray that showed no signs of pneumonia (thank God!), the pediatrician was satisfied with her pulse oxygen levels enough to let us come home and administer nebulizer treatments on our own, every four hours around the clock. (I didn’t quite expect to receive an updraft machine as an early Christmas present this year…)
Please pray for our wee one. She is so incredibly sick, even more so than she was with pertussis at the very beginning. I never dreamed that could be possible. I will be sure to keep you posted on how she is doing.
Love to all,
