Patriotic Mini Bundt Cake Gift Idea Supplies

• Mini bundt cake pan
• Favorite cake or cupcake batter recipe (see below for my recommended recipe)
• Mini cardboard treat boxes
• Assorted patriotic sprinkles: red, white and blue jimmies, star sprinkles, etc.
• Ribbon and tinsel in patriotic colors

• “Blast” Printable Gift Tags (click link for free download)

• White cardstock
• Scalloped scissors
• Hole punch
• Rubber bands

Bake your mini bundt cakes in the mini bundt cake pan according to your recipe instructions. Allow the cakes to cool completely.

When cool, package a cake in each cake box, and sprinkle with the assorted patriotic sprinkles.

Tie each box with a ribbon bow, and add a cluster of the tinsel. The tinsel clusters I used here came from the seasonal section at Michaels. They came on long wooden skewers, but I used scissors to cut off the skewer end before tucking into the center of the bow.

Print the gift tags onto the cardstock. Cut out each tag with the scalloped scissors. Punch a hole through the top of each tag, and then attach a rubber band through the punched hole using a slip knot.

Secure the tags onto the finished boxes using a slip knot. Your cakes are ready for giving as a festive, summery gift to anyone on your list!
