Cranberry Hootie Creek Cookie Mix:
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- ½ cup dried oats
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon salt
- â…“ cup brown sugar
- â…“ cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup dried cranberries
- ½ cup white chocolate chips
- ½ cup chopped pecans
Note: Follow all Scotchâ„¢ Brand package instructions for proper surface cleaning and prep, adhesive strip placement and recommended weight claims.
Layer all cookie mix ingredients in the order listed into the jar. If needed, use a funnel or piece of parchment rolled into a funnel shape to keep things tidy as you add the dry ingredients.
Print the jar recipe tags onto the white cardstock using a computer and printer. Use scissors to cut out a tag around the dotted lines.
Apply 2 1-inch pieces of Scotchâ„¢ Double Sided Tape to the back of the tag. Affix the tag to the jar lid, and screw the lid onto the filled jar.
Cut a 6-inch piece of the Scotchâ„¢ Expressions Packaging Tape, and fold the piece in half, smoothing out any bubbles. Use scissors to trim a triangular notch on the bottom edge of the piece and two notches from each of the top corners.
Use a star paper punch to create a star embellishment with white cardstock. Affix the star piece to the front of the tag with a piece of Scotchâ„¢ Double Sided Tape. If desired, write a message to the recipient on the star piece with a permanent marker.
Use scissors to cut a long piece of twine. Use the hole punch to make a hole at the top of the tag. Wrap the twine around the throat of the jar, and then thread the tag onto the twine. Secure with abow.
Now, simply present to someone special as a sweet, thoughtful gift!
Jar cookie mixes like this one make fantastic gifts around the holidays. Recipients will always know that a freshly baked batch of cookies to serve holiday guests is just a jar and a matter of minutes away!
This mix bakes up into chewy, flavorful cookies that are filled to the brim with tart cranberries, sweet white chocolate chips and crunchy pecans. My entire family loves them!

Recipe sounds delicious and it makes a cute gift. Recipe doesn’t say how many cookies the recipe makes. I realize that the size of the cookie matters but I wondered is this is approx. 1 dozen or closer to two dozen. Thanks!
Amy @ Positively Splendid says
This makes approximately 2 dozen small cookies. Great question!
