This post is brought to you by American Crafts, who have teamed up with Target to offer delightful products to make this Halloween truly special. All opinions are entirely my own.
Needing a quick and easy idea for Halloween party favors, classroom treats, or neighbor gifts? Look no further than these super simple Halloween treat buckets! Made in minutes, these can be filled to the brim with any treat you choose, and they can be tailored to suit any recipient. Let me show you how easily these come together!
Honestly, the hardest step in this entire process is narrowing down which products from the terrific American Crafts Halloween line at Target to use. There is so much to choose from: epoxy and glittered stickers, washi tape, labels, and a 6×6″ paper pad ( just to name a few), plus three complete kits to craft a fantastic wreath, a festive banner or some darling witches’ hats. I love them all!!
Once you’ve selected your favorites, the fun can begin: embellishing the buckets! I picked up some cute scalloped metal buckets from the dollar section at Target for these. Isn’t the orange color perfect for Halloween?
Project directions:
- Place a square frame of washi tape on the front of the bucket.
- Embellish further with glittered and epoxy stickers.
- Create a small tag with Kraft paper and embellish with a “Happy Halloween” message sticker. Affix the tag to the pail with a tiny clothespin. (These are my personal favorite!)
- Place some yummy treats in a plastic bag, and use a twist tie to secure. Embellish with a sticker. Place in the bucket.
In no time at all, you have some festive, adorable Halloween treat buckets. The possibilities really are endless for these little guys!
To fill my buckets, I found new candy corn M&M’s at Target. I loved the bright yellow, white and orange colors!
And, if you are wanting to make a more treacherous treat bucket for older kids in your life, the apothecary-style stickers are perfect for that! My 12-year-old nephew is going to love this “extreme caution” treat bucket, and I made sure to tuck in a plastic scorpion with his candy bag for good measure. 🙂
All of the products used in this post are available exclusively at Target stores nationwide, so you can head to Target this weekend to pick up everything you need to craft a few of these beauties!
