Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout November and December, some of my favorite blogging friends will be stopping by Positively Splendid to share some of their best holiday ideas in the third annual Swell Noël series. You can stay up-to-date on all of the fantastic ideas shared throughout the series by following the Swell Noël 2013 Pinterest board, and also by following the #SwellNoel hashtag on Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and Instagram. My friend Keri from Shaken Together is here to share a salty and sweet Christmas snack mix that is perfect for serving at holiday gatherings or packaging up as a tasty gift!
I am positively thrilled to be participating in Swell Noël at Positively Splendid today – thank you so much having me, Amy!
I’m Keri and it’s so nice to meet you! I am the author over at Shaken Together where I am celebrating a creative life with easy recipes, quick DIYs, seasonal gifts and crafts and a little of our life with two boys, two cats and 13 years of marriage!
I don’t know about you, but I just LOVE this time of year! But is it busy! And I have lots of people to spoil this year! So, I came up with a quick, Christmas-y snack mix that is perfect to have on hand for holiday munching and also makes a sweet holiday mason jar gift!
O, Christmas Tree Munch Mix
This O, Christmas tree munch mix is sweet and salty (one of my favorite combos!) and it is no-bake, so there is no oven or even a stove required! This is a fun treat that the kiddos can help with, too! Grab a bowl and 5 simple ingredients and whip up a batch of this Santa-approved snack mix!
O Christmas Tree Munch Mix
Ingredients
- 5 cups Frosted Cheerios
- 1 1/2 cups Craisins
- 1 1/2 cups Christmas candy corn
- 2 cups pretzel sticks
- 2 cups Bugles
Instructions
- In a large bowl, stir together ingredients and enjoy! Store in an airtight container.
Notes
Want in a fun little secret? Just like I did with the ingredients for my Thanksgiving themed Mayflower Munch Mix, each ingredient is themed! So, in keeping with the Christmas tree theme …
And because everything is cuter in a mason jar, scoop some of the Oh Christmas Tree Munch mix into a quilted mason jar, add a gingham lid and hot glue on a tiny, snow covered Christmas tree for a festive touch!
I hope to see you over at my place … I’ll be sure to have the hot chocolate floats!
Doesn’t this snack mix look yummy? I can’t wait to whip up a batch! Keri always has the best ideas:
