It’s time to celebrate the season with delicious baked goods, fun seasonal projects and gathering with friends and family. And these Cake Mix Peanut Butter Brownies are perfect!
I’m Kim from Today’s Creative Blog, where I blog on all things creative. If it inspires me, it just might inspire you, so I share it. Simple as that. Sweet Amy asked me to join in for my second year for Swell Noel, so I thought I’d share a really quick treat with you. This time of year our schedules become even more hectic, so I’m always looking for ways to still do festive things…….like baking easy recipes.
I made this up yesterday morning for our annual Tree Cutting Tailgater. My husbands family and mine all head out to our favorite tree farm to hunt down the best tree. After we all find our trees, get them tied to the top of our cars, we drop the tail gate down on one of the pick ups and bring out Spanish coffees for the adults, hot chocolate for the kids (and me) and lots of goodies. We are the envy of all the other tree cutters every year!
I whipped these Cake Mix Peanut Butter Brownies up in no time! These seriously are the fastest treats ever! I took the pan just like it was, straight out of the oven. They were a hit! Everyone loved them.
Cake Mix Peanut Butter Brownies
- 1 yellow cake mix
- 2 eggs
- 1/3 vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup peanut butter (smooth or chunky)
- 1 cup peanut butter chips (or chocolate)
- 1/2 cup peanuts or walnuts
Preheat your oven to 350°
Using a hand held or Kitchen Aid Mixer, mix the cake mix, eggs and oil. Add and mix peanut butter. Stir in your nuts and chips. The mixture is thick!
Pat the batter into a 9×9-inch pan. 9×13 can also be used if you want them a little thinner.
Bake 14-17 minutes or until golden brown like in the photo. These need to sit for at least 20 minutes after cooking since they are soft and gooey. Cut yourself a piece and enjoy!
Happy Holidays!

Hi Amy. This is Dianne. Two or three months ago you had a craft that was made out of a prism a picture and I think silver paint. Or maybe some kinds of special silver paint. Is there any way you could repost the craft? Or maybe send me the direction on how to make it. Thank You, Dianne
