Hello and Happy Holidays! I’m Stephanie Lynn from Under the Table and Dreaming and I am delighted be part of Amy’s Sweet Noel series. {I hope she is enjoying the needed time with her sweet little one}
I love the warm cozy feeling festive decorations and seasonal decor adds to a home this time of year. Fresh pine and winter greenery is my favorite go to and smells amazing when brought indoors.
I like to tuck a little greenery every where I can and thought a simple pouch would be perfect to hold and hang these festive greens all around.
Materials Needed:
Cardboard Tube {I used an empty paper towel roll}
Burlap or Fabric
Spray Adhesive
Twine or Ribbon
Paper Pinwheel {or other embellishments}
Fresh Greenery
Additional materials needed:
Glue Gun, Hole Puncher
Begin by cutting a cardboard tube to your desired length. {I used a paper towel roll however a tp roll would work as well} I cut one end on a little diagonal to add a little flare.
Flatten the straight edge, fold and score – at this point your just folding so it will be easier to glue once the fabric is added.
Cut a piece if burlap or fabric to size and cover the tube with spray adhesive. Wrap the fabric around the tube and secure into place with hot glue.
Tuck the excess fabric on the top into the actual roll for a finished look. The bottom simply fold and hot glue into place.
Using a hole puncher, punch a hole on each side of the top and thread with twine or ribbon.
The pouch can now be embellished however you like – and there are so many possibilities. I added a mini paper pinwheel to mine as I like the simplicity. You can find the super easy tutorial {here}
Finish off by tucking in some fresh cut greenery from your yard.
I add a few faux berries as well. These make cute little door hangers and great inexpensive toppers to add to your holiday gifts {simply just add a name to the pinwheel}.
Thanks so much Amy for the invite. I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving and a fabulous holiday season ~ xoxo Under the Table and Dreaming

It is a goal of mine this year to use mainly what I have on hand for my holiday decorations, so this project is right up my alley! What a phenomenal idea to adorn packages, too! Thanks so much to Stephanie Lynn for stopping in today.
