Today we celebrated Cecily’s baptism, and we couldn’t have dared hope for it to go any more beautifully! Cecily was an absolute angel, perfectly content to be held by her mama in the lovely bonnet and gown lovingly made for her by her Mammo. The detail on the dress is absolutely breathtaking. Thank you so much, Mom, for spending so many hours to make such a precious heirloom!
Leigh and John were able to come in to serve as sponsors, which made the day even more special. Jack and Charlotte joined all of us at the front of the church during the ceremony, and they did so (surprisingly!) well! We only had one tackling incident, which, for those of you who have spent any length of time with those two monkeys can attest, is really quite remarkable. 😉
We are so truly blessed to feel so truly at home in our church. God has truly enriched our life as a family through the many people we have met during our time at Shepherd of Peace!
