I love a new year. It’s a time for a fresh start. A chance for a new perspective. An opportunity to reflect on where you have been and where you want to be.
The idea of choosing a word or theme to sum up my goals for the year ahead is something I have never done before, for the simple reason that I could never really identify any singular idea that resonated with me enough to commit to pursuing it for 365 days. This year, though, for some reason a particular word came to mind before it had even dawned on me to consider it.
Extraordinary.
A life less ordinary. Going beyond what is expected. Striving for more.
I love it.
Have you considered choosing a word to motivate you this year? If so, I’d love for you to share!

Great word to motivate you this year… I had the same thought this year. My own for this year (& from now on I hope) is “mindfulness.” It is a shame that I go through life rushing, and I aspire to be in the “present” more often.
Thanks for a great blog, Amy B.
