With spring just around the corner, craft a lovely wreath to adorn your indoor or outdoor spaces. Featuring an abundance of beautiful faux blooms and greenery, this wreath is inspired by the feminine, stylish elegance of springtime in Paris. And best of all? One of these beauties can be made easily in just a matter of minutes! Let me fill you in on this fun floral spring wreath project, made as part of the Michaels Makers team.
Today’s post is brought to you by Michaels.
For this project, you will need…
- Grapevine wreath
- Assorted faux stems: hydrangeas and roses
- Wire snippers
- Galvanized metal letter
- Hot glue
To begin, remove the blooms from each stem with wire snippers. Gently pull to remove the leaves from each stem, as well.
Position the flowers along the left-hand side of the wreath, as shown. When you are satisfied with the layout of the flowers, apply a bit of hot glue to each stem and then push each through the wreath form to secure.
Position and adhere the leaves with hot glue alongside the flowers. Tuck a few leaves in between the flowers, as well, for extra dimension.
Finally, use hot glue to adhere the metal letter along the right-hand side of the wreath, as shown.
Your elegant Paris-inspired floral wreath is complete!
This wreath is the perfect way to impart a pop of spring color into any space. The grouping of flowers nestled alongside one another reminds me of a flower stand on a Parisian street corner.
I love how the metallic letter really pops against the rest of the natural elements here. This wreath would make such a lovely statement to greet guests on a front door!
