Last week, I had the privilege to serve alongside some very wonderful, generous people at our church’s VBS, and on the final day, I knew I wanted to give them something special to show them how much I appreciated all of their hard work. By packaging up some yummy brownie bites from my grocery’s bakery in some cute gift boxes and outfitted printable gift tags (which I’m sharing as a FREE download with all of you today!), I was able to whip up some delicious, thoughtful gifts in just a matter of minutes. Let me fill you in on all of the details!
I am a firm believer in the restorative power of chocolate, and so I knew that after all of their hard work last week, my fellow VBS volunteers would definitely enjoy these yummy brownie bites! I purchased a couple of packages at the market, and then I set to work at home to package them up in a special way.
First, I used my manual die cutting machine and a fun bakery box die (affiliate link) to cut out treat boxes from pretty scrapbooking paper. I was delighted when I discovered these little boxes are just the right size for holding 4 of the brownies!
With the goodies all packaged up and ready to go, I simply printed off some gift tags that reflect how I feel about each one of the recipients (the tags read, “Life is Sweeter Because of You!”), and I used my 2-inch circle punch (affiliate link) to punch them out. I punched a hole in the top of each with my Crop-A-Dile before threading a piece of ribbon through and affixing to the box with a pretty bow.
I love that these little goodies are thoughtful, simple, and delicious!
