Sometimes the simplest projects can be the most elegant. Case in point: this oh-so-simple twig and pine cone wreath. Featuring just a few basic supplies and requiring only a bit of time to make, this is a holiday wreath you can display even once the Christmas decorations have been packed away.
For this project, you will need…
- Natural wreaths in 2 sizes: 1 small, 1 large
- 3 pine cones
- White acrylic paint
- Foam brush
- Grosgrain ribbon
- Hot glue
Directions:
- Stack the small wreath on top of the large wreath, and secure the two together with hot glue.
- Use the foam brush to paint the tips of the pine cone quills with the acrylic paint, and allow to dry completely. Affix the pine cones to the center of the wreath with hot glue.
- Affix a grosgrain ribbon bow above the pine cones with hot glue.
This wreath is designed to coordinate beautifully with my rustic-luxe holiday mantel design, which was the winner of of the HGTV Blogger Mantel Challenge!
