Sometimes it’s the little touches that make the biggest impact when entertaining. If you plan to serve pie at your next gathering, impress guests with these easy printable pie pennants. Numbered from one to eight to ensure eight perfectly portioned slices, these are a fun way to brighten up a simple summer dessert!
For this project, you will need…
-
Printable Pie Pennant PDF
- White cardstock
- Scissors
- Lollipop sticks
- Adhesive (I love my Xyron sticker maker for projects like this one)
Download and print the pie pennant printable onto the cardstock. Use scissors to carefully cut each one out along the dotted lines.
Apply adhesive to the back of each pennant. A sticker maker is perfect for this, as it applies an even layer of adhesive to the entire reverse side of the pennant.
If using a sticker maker, remove the backing from the pennant…
…and then carefully position a lollipop stick at the center, using the notches on the top and bottom of the pennant as your placement guides.
Now, wrap the pennant around the stick, and press firmly to adhere.
Continue the above steps until all eight pennants are complete. They all are ready to pretty up your favorite pie!
One my my summer favorites is Lemon-Lime Mousse pie, which is pictured here!
