Oh, I do love this time of year for so many reasons. The weather is warmer. The days are longer.
And Hobby Lobby’s shelves are stocked with a plethora of VBS goodies. š
If you are a mama of little ones and you’ve never perused the wares in that particular aisle during one of your Hobby Lobby runs (which tend to happen around here far more than I care to admit…), make it a point to do so the next time you go. There is such an abundance of wholesome, inexpensive fun! We picked up these little mugs for just 87 cents apiece last week, and both Jack and Charlotte had a marvelous time decorating them. What a fun way to get their creative juices flowing (and allow me a bit of time to do some crafting of my own!).
And as proof thereĀ is some great stuff for the grown-ups,Ā too,Ā here is a project I completed a couple of years back using a littleĀ 99-centĀ unfinished wooden cross frameĀ from – you guessed it! The VBS aisle at my beloved Hobby Lobby.
