Handmade greeting cards are one of my favorite ways to add a personal touch to gifts (and save money, too!), and today Carrie from Worth Pinning is here to share a fabulous idea for creating handmade cards using your fabric fabrics. There are so many possibilities for this technique!
The image will be traced in reverse on double sized fusible web. Use a light-box or window for tracing. Make sure you trace from the backside so the image is reversed. Then tape the fusible web over the image and trace the image. We are tracing the bat and ball separate because we will be using a different fabric for the bat and for the ball.
Iron the pieces onto the cardstock. You can add lettering and a message on the inside of the card. My 10 year old son made this card by himself (with supervision, of course…hot iron!) for his cousin’s birthday next week.

This is a great idea to use with my grand children and the nursing homes in my area as they always need cards. Good idea to make several at one time while the iron is hot.
