Have y’all seen the fun Sherwin Williams ad campaign where they’ve commissioned paper artists to turn their paint samples into fun little creations like the ones below? I am in **love** with the creativity behind this campaign!
The project I’m sharing with y’all this afternoon is one that I have pulled out of my creative archives, from way back in January of 2009. The Sherwin Williams campaign jogged my memory of how cute this little album turned out, and with the holidays approaching, this might be a simple and fun stocking stuffer to put together to give to friends and family. It’s never too early to start planning! ๐
I have mentioned here dozens of times how colorful my sweet Miss Charlotte is in her personality, so I decided to create this little mini-album to document that. The title of the album, “Color me…” is displayed on the front cover, and each subsequent page is devoted to the adjectives that most aptly described her at that moment in time. When I created this project, I had just purchased my Bind-It-All machine, and I was itching to put it to good use. I used the machine to bind paint samples (from Sherwin Williams, actually!) in every color of the rainbow, and then I went to the work of embellishing. I used Photoshop to create black and white filmstrip-like photo rows that I adhered to the background, which made the main color photos on each page really shine. Aside from that, I added letter stickers, flowers, die cuts, rub-ons, and other paper and crafting supplies to really punch things up. This was a really fun (and quick!) project!

Dude! I LOVE that b&w with the colored photo on top. So smart, and so perfect. I’m tired of using the word “perfect” for all your crafts. I had to Thesaurus.com a new one just to change it up. I’m going with “impeccable” for today. I like it.
